Milestones – Puma V1.06

In 2006 Puma really got back to the fight with Nike and Adidas. Puma presented the v1.06 which was the lightest boot Puma ever made. Some great players wore them such as Samuel Eto’o, Robert Pires, Alexander Hleb and Fredrik Ljungberg.

Puma used a so called “Scholler ConTec”
upper material which made the boot light and gave close to bare foot feel. To increase the bare foot feel puma reshaped the front of the foot and used “Puma Lace Wrap System” to ensure a optimal fit.

To reduce even more weight Puma used carbon fibre in the soleplate, which gave more flexibility and strength. Puma v1.06 had also a stud pattern that was different from the other brands, especially the studs in the heel was designed for speed.

Thank you for reading! Will soon continue selling some boots so stay tuned!

Milestones – Puma King 1970

Puma King had a mayor influence during years 1968-1990. It all started in 1966 World Cup when the player of the tournament Eusebio wore the Puma King, the trademark of Puma formstripes are still today the same as back in 1966. Some big names wore Puma King during the years, Pele in 1970, Cruyff in 1974 and Diego Maradona from 1978-1990.

In 1994 World Cup Puma started to struggle when Nike and Adidas launched their new boots.

Me Feat. Real Madrid CF

Haha so I made a small edit and decided to share it to you!

I really think that if I one day would have been playing for Real Madrid CF “Galacticos” this would probably been my FIFA 17 Ultimate Team card 😂

Can everyone agree??

Puma King Menotti Star

Puma King Menotti Star only 511 pairs made.

The boots are a remake of a special edition Puma King which was released to honour Argentina winning the 1978 World Cup title. The boots were named after the Argentine coach César Luis Menotti who led his team to win the first ever titel!

The boot is more like a luxury edition of Puma King. High quality k-leather giving a soft touch to the ball and adding comfort. The soleplate was also kept same looking as back in 1978, all-white look adds some class!

Bought these as a bargain for only £58! 😉

Year of 2006 was a great year!

What comes to football boots the year of 2006 was a superb year for many brands!

Nike released the Mercurial Vapor III, maybe the best Vapor ever made. Adidas continued their Predator range with the Absolute and introduced the F50.6 Tunit. Puma made a comeback with the Puma v1.06, and really competed once again with Nike and Adidas!

I bet we all have some memories back in 2006? If so please share the moments!

These Puma evoSpeed 1.3 were not a limited release, neither a rare boot, just a public version! The thing I like about these is the colour and beautiful leather stiching 👌🏻 I bought them for a bargain price 39.99£ brand new in box.
