Nike Hypervenom Phantom DF women’s edition

The boots where released in late January of 2017 and I instantly fell in love with these women’s colourway, perhaps because they really match the release colourway of the first ever Superfly!

Really like the new Nike Hypervenom Phantom III, Nike added some new features that really improves the boot from last generation.

Features like:

  • First time ever a one-piece Flyknit upper that is breathable, streching and the dynamic fit collar gives more support
  • Asymmetrical lacing gives you a larger area to control the ball
  • “Poron” foam pods in the upper gives a smooth touch while dribbling and once striking the ball they give you a better strike
  • The soleplate is compleately new and developed by Nike in over 6 years time. The soleplate is more flexible in the forefoot area and gives more support in the heel. The studs are designed lateral cuts and sharp turns.

Here you can see the “Poron” foam pods, also the one-piece flyknit upper and asymmetrical lacing.

Nike is also using a lockdown system inside of the boots. As you see in the picture there are some lockdown ribbons in the heel area.

A boot worth to try! Thanks for reading.

All Of My Vapor III

Here is an update of my Nike Mercurial Vapor III collection.

And if you don’t know anything about this boot:

Nike Mercurial Vapor III was released in 2006, for the FIFA World Cup in Germany. And if
Mania was regarded as a peak of Adidas Predator range then we could say the same thing about
Nike Mercurial Vapor III.

Nike released 15 different colorways of the Vapor III. Most special of them is the Nike Mercurial
Vapor III 10th Anniverary (black/white) they were a limited edition 1000 pairs made to celebrate
10 years of Nike Mercurial!

In the picture you can also see a pair that is completely gold, this colourway was never released as I painted them myslef 😛

Top 5 Nike Mercurials

Probably my Top 5 Nike Mercurials!I got the iconic Mercurial 1.0 1998, I think this boots need to be here as it represents the whole family of Mercurial. The second is first ever Mercurial Vapor, the Vapor I from 2002, this boot is one of my big favourites! Next is maybe the most popular Mercurial of all time, the Vapor III 2006. Who ever you ask “which is his favourite Mercurial?” I bet 70% answers “the Vapor III”! Then we have the first Superfly I from 2009 with new flywire technology, this really was a big breaktrue as Nike managed to build a boot with less weight and still kept the durability. The las last boot I chose to this list is the new Superfly V 2016, specially the “EA-Sport” limited edition! Isn’t that a cool boot?!🙌🏻

Do you agree on this list or do you have an own Top 5?

Custome gold Nike Mercurial Vapor III Fg

Here’s my custome painted Nike Mercurial Vapor III Fg. I spray painted them few months ago and re-spray painted them yesterday, as the gold colour is very sensitive. The final result is great!

The original colour of these was the release colourway white with the yellow heel and a black Nike swoosh. My first plan was to keep the Nike swoosh visible by painting it white or silver. Once I got painting the gold base I decided to paint the whole boot gold because everyone recognize this boot by it’s shape not by the Nike logo 😉

Had to paint the original laces seperately to make sure they was painted all the way.

Really satisfied how they look today!

Nike Mercurial Vapor III

One of my favourite Nike Mercurial Vapor III colours the “Argon Blue”! Were looking for this colour for ages, and got hold of them from a friend of mine in Asia.

Pretty rare colourway here in Europe but I noticed they were more common in Asia and US, and I never seen this colour been released in my home country. So could be that they never had an official release in Europe?

Custome made: Nike Mercurial Vapor III “Gold”

I had been thinking of this project for some time already. I had the right paint but I were not 100% sure if it would work, also I didin’t want to ruin a great pair of boots either.

I like to think about them as one of Nike’s golden boots through the years!

The original colourway was the white and yellow which also was the release colourway in 2006. The white base made them easy to be re-painted. I used a spray paint made for plastic, rubber and wood materials. Many people are asking me if the paint would last while playing in them? The truth is that in hard use the colour would start to slowly vanish, but then again these were not painted for play in 😉

Hope you like the result and make sure to check out the video clip on my YouTube account: Toffem

Italy made it!

Few of us believed Italy could win Belgium, in the end their concept worked and Italy won 2-0. Good defending and pure finishing! 🇮🇹

These Nike Mercurial Vapor III Fg boots were made back in the day to celebrate Italy winning the World Cup 2006 in Germany. They won the Finale agains France 5-3 in penalties, after extra time the game ended 1-1.

These boots are limited edition and made only 250 pairs in the world. Truly a beautiful boot and one of top boots in the any collection!
