Adidas Predator Accelerator Trainer

So here is a result of a small project. I always wanted to have a pair of Predator Accelerator football boots that would be in trainer concept. So what I did was: I bought myself a pair of old and broken Predator Accelerator football boots, I cleaned them properly and I brought them to a local shoemaker. I presented my idea of the boots for the shoemaker and he gladly accepted the request, but he couldn’t promise 100% it would work, he said he will keep me updated while it progress.

After about 10 weeks he had them finished. I went to his shop and he told me about the hard work it took to converte the boots to trainers. He also found a original “retro” adidas soleplate to use in them! Will certainly do it over again sometime in the future.

Adidas Predator Absolute Sg “Made in Germany”

Next addition to my collection, Adidas Predator Absolute Sg “Made in Germany” and worn by Adam Matysek played in FC Nurnberg and Bayer Leverkusen. Great addition and again higher quality than a ordinary Absolute “made in Indonesia”.I hope that one day I own all of Predators 1994-2010 “Made in Germany” 🙏🏻

Adidas Predator Accelerator Sg “Made in Germany”

So last week I reached a huge milestone as a collector! I got up to 10.000 followers on InstaGram (@toffem) and best of all I bought myself a pair of Adidas Predator Accelerator Sg “Made in Germany”!

They are match worn by Pedro Barbosa a former captain of Sporting CP and Portuguese national team! They are really uniq as he had a contract with Adidas back in the days! The boot is measured to him and made of really high quality leather!

There is no tags in the boot, but you can clearly see on the leather, stiching, tongue, rubber fins and on the structure of the heel that they are made for a proffesional player and also “Made in Germany”.

Adidas Predator Mania in Gold

So I started a project with an excellent pair of Adidas Predator Mania Sg, the only problem they had were the white rubber stripes were broken and coming off. So what I did was replaced them with stiched leather stripes, and I were satisfied. Almost…

Then I had to take the project to a next level! I had them airbrush painted at a local artist @maalinetti, and I wanted them to match the famous pair of Gold Manias that were made to celebrate Zidane winning the 3rd FIFA player of the World!

Once they were painted I replaced the black elastic band with a new one in white and stiched it into place, I had to buy some new white laces to match the boots!

And here they are!

Adidas Predator Accelerator Generation

So I found the last colour of the Adidas Predator Accelerator! I have been looking for the red ones some years now, actually I have owned couple of them in the past but both times the boots were in worser condition than descripted in the listing. But this time I bought them from a friend of mine so I could count on him!

So thanks to my friend for the red pair, now I completed to have all the different colours of the famous Predator Accelerator.
