Adidas Predator Accelerator 1998
Released in 1998, the adidas Predator Accelerator was the fourth incarnation of the Predator series. The adidas Predator Accelerator was the first Predator boot to include asymmetrical loop lacing. This new system provided a larger and cleaner kicking surface. The new lacing system combined with redesigned rubber vamps, which were less pronounced so more boot surface area came into contact with the ball and gave a nice swerve to the ball. A legend who really was a key wearer of Accelerator was Zinedine Zidane in World Cup in France 1998.
